Bairro Português - Petersham Food & Wine Fair
Bairro Português Petersham Food and Wine Fair has become one of Sydney’s best cultural celebrations, with a fantastic mix of food, wine and entertainment that is a true feast for all senses.
The entertainment stage will feature the colour and vibrancy of local Portuguese folkloric groups as they perform traditional dances accompanied by traditional instruments, along with Brazilian dancers, local Portuguese musicians, and for the first time at Bairro, an International headline act - Portuguese performer Chico Avila, from the United States.
Children’s activities will include art and craft workshops themed to Portuguese images, including the traditional Rooster, alongside free face painting.
